IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE

It is essential to use the PS/2 power cable provided with the Easyharddisk for the drive to function properly. Follow the instructions below:

1. Unplug your PS/2 mouse, if you're using one.
2. Plug the PS/2 mouse into the piggyback PS/2 connector on the PS/2 power cable.
3. Plug in the PS/2 power cable with the PS/2 mouse connected piggyback connector (if applicable) into the PS/2 port on your computer.
4. Plug the other end of the PS/2 power cable into the Easyharddisk.
5. Connect the USB cable provided to a USB port on your computer.
6. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the Easyharddisk.

At this point, the drive should function normally. No additional drivers are needed for Windows XP, 2000 or Me. A driver, which is located on the EasyDisk installation CD-ROM is required for Windows 98 Second Edition.

We do not guarantee compatibility with Windows 98 (First Edition); however, in many cases it will function. Windows 95 and NT 4.0, or earlier versions of Windows or DOS, do not support Easyharddisk.
